How do you put money on a debit card?

I have $10 on a debit card that will expire in one month from now. I'm 15 years old and I want to put $20 dollars in my debit card. If I have enough cash money, how would I put the $20 of cash into the debit card?|||Depends on the debit card type. If it is a bank debit card that you received when opening up your checking account you would just need to deposit your $ into your checking account.

If it is one of those greendot prepaid cards you go to walgreens, cvs etc and buy a money pack card(its card you purchase each time you want to deposit $ on your card) you can put $20-$500 on at at time and the company charges $4.95 each time you load the card. you then call the 1800 # on the back of the card and type in credit card number and reload number located at the back of the $ pack......|||There is probably a phone number on the card. Call that and ask for help.|||Generally speaking a debit card withdraws directly from a checking or savings account. It debits the account (hence the name!) Put money in the account, then the car accesses it.

If it is a gift card or check card contact the company that issued it.
