How do I pay for online bills when debit card is deactivated?

My current debit card was deactivated by Wachovia bank because of fraud, and they said that I should receive a new debit card in the mail within 3-10 business days.

However, I need to pay off some credit card bills online and I have no other way of paying it off on the due date. How can I pay online without an activated card and with no debit card number??|||Call the credit card company and make an check by phone payment (ACH) using your bank routing and account number.|||Check with you bank to see if they have on line bill pay. If you have credit cards you are trying to make payments on you should be signed up with them already so you can make payments from your bank. Maybe you can make a payment to one from another. Not knowing the whole situation it is hard to say exactly what you can do. If you have no way whatsoever to pay on line I would suggest you call the companies and explain what happened and they will probably understand. If payments are due in 3 days and your new debit card is supposed to arrive in 3 to 5 days I don't think that one or two days late is going to effect your credit. Maybe a small late fee at the most.|||your credit card company lets you pay for the bill using a debit card? I have never heard of that. Anyway, you can also use your checking account information to pay the bill as well. You just need the routing number (first 9 digit number on the bottom of your checks) and your account number (usually the middle number on your checks. You can also call or go into the bank and confirm what your account number is or find out what it is if you don't have it. There is probably also a Bill Pay feature with the online banking as well through your bank where they will send the credit card company a check (a lot of the time it is sent electronically, just from Wachovia to the credit company instead of you giving the credit company your account info. Its a better way to keep in more control over when a payment is made because the credit company can't *accidentally* charge your account for a payment.

Just because the debit card is deactivated doesn't mean your checking account number doesn't work anymore. :)|||Wachovia offers free bill pay. Go to their website and sign in. Give them the bank and account number of your credit card and tell them how much to send from your checking account. If you need to pay it faster (this will probably take 2 business days) go to the credit card company's site and give them your checking account number and routing number. They may or may not charge for the debit.|||u can try calling the company
